The countdown to the 2nd PV-Med has started! EPIA, ARE and WIP are glad to invite you to the Second Photovoltaic Mediterranean Conference which will take place in the beautiful Athens on the 19 & 20 April 2007.
Greece revealed a key place for the 2nd PV MED. As a matter of fact its geographic location makes Greece a strategic actor in the Mediterranean energy market. It could play an active role within the Euro Mediterranean Partnership - which has, among its priorities, the promotion of Renewable Energy Sources (RES).
Considering the successful precedents (results of first PV-MED), the organization of the second PV Med will constitute a key event for the promotion and development of the photovoltaic sector within the Mediterranean area.
The event will occur under the High Auspices of the Greek Ministry for Development. The event will be an occasion for key Mediterranean actors - Greece, Italy, Spain, France, Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Turkey, Libya, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon Morocco, Syria, Tunisia, Mauritania, Cyprus and Malta – to meet and discuss political, market, financial and technological development opportunities.
